PREGNANCY MUST-HAVES AND 5 SIMPLE WAYS TO STAY HEALTHY

I was recently listening to a Goal Digger Podcast and she asked a question that really resonated with me.

“How can you prioritize your mental health this week?”

It’s safe to say a majority of us are lacking in the ‘self-care’ department. I am certainly guilty of checking off the long list of to-dos and taking care of the family while leaving my needs at the very end of that list.

You guys know how much I love recommending baby steps to create lasting change. When you keep that momentum going, you’ll look back and discover that you made big strides towards positive changes.

Here are 5 simple ways you can boost your energy and improve your overall health.

  1. Wake up 15 mins earlier every morning and drink an 8 oz glass of water with lemon to energize your body.

  2. DO NOT look at your phone for 30 minutes upon waking.

  3. Find a quiet place in your home to sit and close your eyes for just 3-5 minutes. Go to the bathroom if you must;) During this time, quiet your mind and try not to think about anything. You can build upon this time as you go along. The point is to just be present in that moment.

  4. Before you start your day, take a look in the mirror and remind yourself of how worthy you are of love, abundance, friendship, success and everything that this world has to offer. I am here to remind you that you are perfect just the way you are!

  5. Ask yourself what is one thing you can do today to make yourself feel taken care of? Is it a bubble bath, indulging in yummy essential oils, exercising, a foot or neck massage, spending more time doing your skincare routine, getting some fuzzy slippers, eating a healthy meal, or taking healthy supplements?

The list I made are things I love along with a couple of items I want to get asap. I hope you find them helpful or maybe adopt them into your self-care routine whether you are pregnant or not;)
